Another great recipe from Mom's Pantry friend, Gail Vernon- Musgrave.
My Homemade Chicken Pot Pie
1- 9 inch pie crust.. home made or store bought..
1-roll out pie crust for the top.
2-cans chunk chicken breast
1-can green chillies
1-can cream of chicken soup
1-medium onion chopped.
1/2 small bag frozen mixed veggies.
About a handful of Montreal Steak Seasoning and
a Handful of Garlic Salt.
1/3 cup of heavy cream or milk if you like.
2-jalapenos seeded ( optional)
A good handful of shredded cheese of your choice.. I use the Fiesta Blend.
Mix all in a large bowl..Pour into pie crust ..Roll the other pie crust across the top and pinch
together .Press the edge with a fork to seal .Beat an egg white and coat the top and perforate
with a fork.
Bake at 350* for an hour.
Remove let stand for about 20 minutes slice and serve.
